No time for an elaborate pre-wedding routine? Here are a few quick tricks to get you looking and feeling your best.

He finally proposed. And the ring is gorgeous. Now, on top of juggling your career and family and trying to squeeze in time for a social life, the thought of upping your gym time and scheduling monthly trims to get your hair in tiptop shape while planning the wedding of your dreams just sounds draining. Luckily, there are plenty of shortcuts to help you look and feel your best on your wedding day—and still leave you time for cocktail hour with your girlfriends.
Lashing Out
Worried your brows and lashes are going to fall short on the big day? Consider a lash and brow tint. Sheri David, a makeup artist at Jay Michael Salon, says a brow tint is a quick and easy fix for barely-there brows. “The tint lasts four to six weeks, and then just fades away,” says David. If your brows are patchy or you are going for big, bold brows, David recommends bi-monthly visits over the six months before your wedding to get them shaped and tinted, with a dose of brow grower. The lash tinting also lasts four to six weeks, and pricing starts at $35. For added drama, David suggests adding a set of lashes on your wedding day.

Lengthy Locks
Who doesn’t want long, flowing locks on her wedding day? But who has the time to get the recommended monthly trim to keep the ends healthy, to apply weekly hair masques and to remember to pop a Biotin supplement? Hair extensions are an easy way to get the length you desire. Meaghan Cianci, senior designer at AME Salon and Spa in Wayne, offers two types of extensions: Great Lengths Keratin Bond Extensions and Great Length Apps. The keratin bond extensions last three to six months and can cost from $800 to $2,000, depending on desired length and color. “The bonds are easily hidden and can be put up into a fabulous updo, worn down, or curled,” says Cianci.

Shining Smile
Dr. Haddy Alrez of Alrez Family Dentistry in Glen Mills offers four different teeth whitening services, depending on budget and schedule. Alrez uses the BioLase laser, which uses light to brighten teeth without harming the tissue. “It provides shorter exposure and treatment time when compared to the more common method of using an arc lamp for in-office procedures,” she says. The best part is that you get amazing results after only 20 minutes.
Ask for the silver sparkler package, which includes a laser whitening session with one gel application and a take home kit with bleaching trays that will provide professional results. The process costs less than $600 and can be completed on your lunch hour.

Smooth Skin
Ruth Johnson, a medical esthetician at Subbio Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa, is trained in laser hair removal, blemish removal, liposculpting and tattoo removal. Laser hair removal requires five to seven sessions for each body part. “It’s important to note that any lasering not be done in the summer, because skin is much more sensitive and more often exposed to the sun, causing burning and even potential scarring,” says Johnson. Though laser hair removal is quick (around 20 minutes for face, underarms and bikini area and 45 minutes for both upper and lower legs), Johnson usually tells brides to start the laser process about a year before the wedding for optimal results.
Body Sculpting
Even if you are already in shape, you’ll want to look your absolute best on wedding day. (Those wedding photos are forever, after all.) Diet and exercise can’t always change trouble spots such as love handles, stomach pooch or saddlebags, so forget extra hours in the gym. Schedule an appointment for CoolSculpting, a noninvasive treatment that does not require anesthesia. Dr. Christian Subbio says that CoolSculpting targets fat cells, destroying 25 percent of them permanently. Subbio says that most patients only need one session. And pain is minimal. He recommends scheduling your first treatment six months before your wedding. Each application costs $750.
If your bridal shower and bachelorette weekend have you feeling bloated and fatigued, book a body treatment at Pagavé Salon and Spa with Julia Capaldi. The Aroma Minceur is a one-hour anti-toxin slimming treatment that includes a warm body wrap with wintergreen extract, pine and cedar oils. Results vary, Capaldi says, but on average, clients can expect to lose half an inch to an inch in the legs, stomach and anywhere else there is significant water retention. “These are not forever treatments, so schedule one a couple of days or the day before your wedding,” says Capaldi.
